AI policy

The Owners Dashboard uses artificial intelligence only where it can reduce manual work or help an owner interpret existing business information. It does not replace owner judgement, accounting advice or the dashboard’s deterministic calculations.

AI-assisted data mapping

For spreadsheet mapping, the AI service receives structural information such as source labels, sheet names and table position. Financial values are excluded. Every proposed mapping remains visible and must be reviewed before it can affect the dashboard.

Document extraction requires consent

PDFs and report images may require a separate extraction service that can read the submitted document. This step is disabled until the user gives explicit consent. The extracted result is still staged for review before import.

Owner briefs are private

AI-generated owner briefs use a bounded summary of relevant dashboard history and supporting calculation facts. They are routed privately, kept separate from dashboard calculations and presented as prompts for investigation—not claims of causation.

People remain in control

AI suggestions never save or import data by themselves. Users can review, change or reject mappings and recommendations. Core figures, trends and derived indicators are calculated by tested application rules.
